    Sonny Rollins at Salle Wagram, Paris

    American jazz tenor saxophonist Sonny Rollins (*1930) is regarded as one of jazz history's greatest musicians. This footage is interspersed with an interview with the jazz legend, in which he discusses how he discovered jazz, and the expressive freedom he found in the genre. These recordings were made at Salle Wagram in Paris on October 20, 1980.
