Through interviews, these conductors explain their ideas about the work of Mahler. This documentary by Frank Scheffer includes rehearsals and performances by the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna Philharmonic during the major Mahler festival which took place in May 1995.
