| In June 2017 a blaze that began in a flat on the fourth floor of a London tower block took 18 minutes to spread up the building, turning into an uncontrollable fire that killed 72 residents, including 18 children, and devastated the close-knit community. An inquiry found that highly flammable cladding on the Grenfell tower contributed to the disaster, but it is still investigating the events leading up to the fire and survivors and the bereaved are still waiting for justice. | |||||
