    Andrea Motis Quintet: Moods

    Spanish jazz singer and trumpeter Andrea Motis has been playing the trumpet and saxophone since her early childhood. After six albums in collaboration with bassist Joan Chamorro, Motis released her first solo album 'Emotional Dance' on Impulse! Records in 2017. In this concert from Jazz Club Moods in Zurich, Switzerland, Motis is accompanied by Joan Chamorro (bass), Josep Traver (guitar), Ignasi Terraza (piano), and Esteve Pi (drums). She demonstrates her mesmerising trumpet style and her inimitable vocals in no less than three languages: English, Catalan, and Portuguese.

    InJazz 2019

    One of the bands performing at inJazz is Twists. This quintet is a project headed by pianist and composer Philipp Rüttgers. With cellists Jörg Brinkmann, viola player Oene van Geel, vocalist and guitarist Heidi Heidelberg, and drummer Yonga Sun, Rüttgers fuses jazz with contemporary classical influences in interpretations of Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales.
