	The much awaited 19th edition of the Karujet has finally roared through the island of Guadaloupe. With the world's top guns of jet ski racing on the pitch, these daredevils ploughed through waves at speeds of up to 80 knots. To bring this event to life, people from all over the world join together to create what is becoming the biggest nautical event of the year. Watch as Nautical Channel covers the behind the scenes of what it takes to fuel such a big event in the Caribbean.

	To date, the VENDÉE GLOBE is the only sailing race round the world, solo, non-stop and without assistance. The event followed in the wake of the Golden Globe which had initiated the first circumnavigation of this type via the three capes (Good Hope, Leeuwin and Horn) in 1968. It is called by the public the Everest of the seas, this 9th edition will see 33 contenders depart from Les Sables-d' Olonne to take part in this extraordinary race.
