    Pedal Piano Concert

    Much like a church organ, the bass notes on the pedal piano are played with the feet on a pedal board. Roberto Prosseda revived the pedal piano in 2011 when he played a modern performance of Charles Gounod's `Concerto for Pedal Piano and Orchestra'.

    Sir Simon Rattle conducts the Berliner Philharmonic during the 2008 edition of the Europakonzert, held in the renowned hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow. The first edition of the Europakonzert was in 1991, and since then, the founding of the Berlin Philharmonic on 1 May in 1882 is annually celebrated with a concert in a European city of cultural significance.

    Schubert

    Ester Hoppe, Christian Poltéra and Francesco Piemontesi perform Schubert's Piano Trio No. 2, Op. 100 (D. 929) during the International Chamber Music Festival in Bellinzona, Switzerland in 2019. This trio was among the last compositions completed by Schubert and is dated November 1827. It was published in late 1828, shortly before Schubert's death, and first performed in January 1828 to celebrate the engagement of Schubert's friend Josef von Spaun.

    IPO 75th Anniversary Gala

    Recorded live in Tel Aviv in 2006, this concert honours the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra on its 70th anniversary. With conductor Zubin Mehta and soloists Pinchas Zukerman and Daniel Barenboim, the celebratory concert encompassed artistry far beyond the usual scope of music performance as it presented the brilliant work of many of the musicians most responsible for, and most appreciative of, the orchestra's rich history.

    Franz Liszt Competition 2017 - Semi Final II

    Dina Ivanova (1994, Russia) performs `La notte' (S377a) and `Hungarian Rhapsody No. 12', (S379a) during semi-final II (chamber music) of the 11th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition, held in TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht, in 2017. The competition actively presents, develops, and promotes piano talents from around the world. In doing so, it has become one of the prominent gateways to the international professional classical music scene for young musicians.
