Now, this Spirit of Yachting has expanded throughout the world and takes place in events all over the planet.Great sailors compete and share their experience between rivals. More than 250 yachts from different nations participate in the Rolex Giraglia Cup, Rolex Fastnet Race, TP52, Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup.

	Taking place in October, the Rolex Middle Sea Race was co-founded in 1968 by the Royal Malta Yacht Club and the Royal Ocean Racing Club and starts and finishes in Malta. The fleet compete along 606 nautical mile journey, with sights that include the Strait of Messina, the azure clear waters of Sicily and the ultimate highlight, the active volcano of Stromboli.
