Their hunting methods and weaponry vary with the terrain and game, be it duck, antelope, deer or bear, and oftentimes guests or family members join the excursions. With his experience and youthful exuberance, Wright is able to provide viewers with new insight into the sport.

Some of the locations the show has visited over the years include Siberia, New Zealand and Brazil with guests such as singer Barbara Mandrell, former wrestler and politician Jesse Ventura and pilot Chuck Yeager. It's not all fun and games for McNeely and his guests as the show also deals with environmental and conservation issues.
