	The similarities between flamenco and blues are well-documented: both genres are artistic outlets for a poor, disenfranchised minority and require great improvisation skills and virtuosity, qualities shown by Paco de Lucía in his performances. His sextet includes typical jazz instruments such as bass, drums and saxophone, yet retains the essence of flamenco tradition.
